Officiated by Jennifer E Mason at Niagara Shores Campground and Conference Center in Newfane, New York on September 17th, 2022.
"Where do I even begin? I was so honored that my friends Tony and Cait asked me to officiate their wedding! I was more nervous than either of them! I poured my heart and soul into the vows, the script, the rehearsal! Everything! It was the most rewarding thing I have ever done! The happy couple was ecstatic and enjoyed every moment of it! "

Good afternoon everyone! Welcome to an event years in the making! My name is Jennifer and I have the honor of officiating today! On Tony and Cait’s behalf I would like to welcome and thank everyone for being here at this celebration of their love for one another.
How are we doing today? Great to hear!
When I was chatting with Tony and Cait, I said “Guys, what is it specifically that you’re looking for?” They said, “As long as I keep this thing between 2 to 3 hours, we’re good! So buckle up and enjoy the ride!
They are SO fired up to do this today! And they want you to be excited too. So if something is exciting, go ahead, clap, cheer.
Tony and Cait would like everyone to be present, and in the moment. So they are asking that we have an unplugged ceremony. With this, I’d like everyone to silence and put away their phones. We don’t want to be that person to ruin the photos! They do have an amazing photography team that is going to catch everything!
Also, after the ceremony, Tony and Cait invite you to attend cocktail hour inside, while the wedding party steps out for pictures.
So, what do you think? Should we get started, is it time to bring them in?
Let’s do it!
Tony meets Cait at the first row of seats. He shakes hands or hugs and then takes Cait’s hand and they walk together to the front.
Who gives this bride to be married?
Uncle Jim: Myself on behalf of her mother, Maureen.
“Please be seated”
Bride and Groom hold hands during the ceremony.
We are gathered together here to join Anthony and Caitlin in the spiritual union of marriage. Today is a celebration. A celebration of love, commitment, friendship, family and of two people who are in it forever…….
Part 1: Framing the marriage: Why is marriage important?
What is marriage and why is it important?
Marriage is the beginning of a new chapter. It gives you a partner for life who will be beside you through good and bad, who will be there with you through your life struggles. A marriage, of course, isn’t the last step towards that happy ending, but rather the first step in making your own love story, which will require lots of patience, understanding, commitment, love and respect.
Part 2: Memory Lane: You’ve been through a lot together.
A day like today doesn’t just happen.
4 years ago, you started your life’s journey together. During the coming years, you shared many life experiences. Let’s look back on what led you here…..
When I asked them for their first impressions, Tony, you were all about those legs!” And Cait, after seeing his picture online you thought “Wow, Serial Killer”... But you still went on that date.
It seems that every 2 years you make a new life choice, 2018 - you started dating, 2020 - you bought a house and made it a home and 2022 - you’ve grown your family and now are committing the rest of your lives together! I’m sure we all cannot wait to see what’s next!
During these years your circle of friends grew and strengthened. You learned to love deeply and unconditionally. You’ve discovered a reassuring strength in each other's arms.
You’ve come together to learn the best of what each other has to offer. You chose this location because you want the celebration of your marriage to be unique, casual and fun.
And now, they want to share with you a day of celebration and make memories that will be with them for a lifetime. Tonight is not just about them, but all of you as well, because each of you has given something special to their lives, and that will be forever appreciated.
In memory of:
At this time, we would like to remember our loved ones who could not be here to share in this joy. Even though they are not here physically, they are part of the foundation that makes Anthony and Cailtin the people they are today. We would like to honor the memories of Cait’s mother… Maureen Bohn… Tony’s grandfather,...Wayne Billado (Bill-a-do)... and his uncle Timothy Comeau (Co-mo)... who are with us in spirit for this special occasion. Moment of silence
Vows and Ring Exchange: Why are we exchanging rings?
The Exchange of Wedding Rings represents the vows and promises the bride and groom are about to exchange. They signify to the world that they belong to someone special and someone special belongs to them. The rings you are about to place on each other's fingers are symbols of your love. They will remind you of the eternal love that you have for one another."
Anthony and Caitlyn, are you ready to enter into this marriage? Believing the love you share and your faith in each other will endure all things.
With that being said let’s exchange the vows!
Anthony and Caitlyn will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love & fidelity
Anthony, Repeat after me - Ring goes on
“With this ring, I thee Wed”
Caitlyn, Repeat after me - Ring goes on
“With this ring, I thee Wed”
Anthony, you’ve chosen Caitlin to be your wife . Will you love and respect her? Will you be honest with her always and stand by her through whatever may come?
Caitlin, you’ve chosen Anthony to be your husband. Will you love and respect him? Will you be honest with him always and stand by him through whatever may come?
Declaration, Kiss, and Presentation:
You’ve kissed a thousand times before, maybe more, but this time is different because this is your very first kiss as husband and wife! And so, without further ado, it is my honor to declare you… husband and wife! You may now seal your vows and promises with a kiss! WALK OUT OF PHOTO
And now, everyone please stand with me; it is my honor and privilege to present to you, for the very first time, as husband and wife, Anthony and Caitlin Clark!
Vows printed on cards separately for each of them.
X2 Tony to Cait first, then Cait to Tony. From this moment forward... So will my love forever encircle you... You will never walk alone... My heart will be your shelter... My arms will be your home... We will walk through life as partners & best friends... I promise to do my best to love, cherish and accept you... Just the way you are... I give you my heart until the end of time... I have no greater gift to give."
God our Father:
We gather here now to celebrate the love and commitment of Anthony and Caitlin, as they share their first meal together as husband and wife.
We thank You for giving Your Holy blessing today upon their marriage, and ask that You continue to bless them with Your love and mercy throughout their lives together.
Let this be the first of many loving meals shared together with their family and friends, and blessed by Your amazing grace.
And with Anthony and Caitlin, as we are their family, friends, and loved ones gathered here in Your presence, we ask for Your Holy blessing upon this meal as together we say:
Bless us, oh Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty; through Christ our Lord, Amen.
