Dearly Beloved,
Thank you all for coming today to share in this wonderful occasion. Today we are here together to unite Josue and Dani in marriage.
Do you, Josue, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?
Do you, Dani, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"
Josue and Dani have chosen rings to exchange with each other as a symbol of their unending love.
Josue, as you place this ring on Dani's finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed, and pledge you my love, now and forever.
Dani, as you place this ring on Josue's finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed, and pledge you my love, now and forever.
The couple has chosen to show their unity through a unity sand ceremony. In this ceremony both Josue and Dani will each take their different colored sand, and pour them into this single glass. This keepsake will be kept with them so that every day that they look upon this glass, they will be reminded of the union and promise that they make to each other today to live their lives together as one.
To wrap up, i’m going to read a quote from Kingdom Hearts:
We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.
Now I will step forward to realize this wish.
And who knows:
starting a new journey may not be so hard,
or maybe it has already begun.
There are many worlds, but they share the same sky —
one sky, one destiny.
May you both share the same skies and destinies through your love together on this new journey for the rest of your lives.
By the authority vested in me by the American Marriage Ministries and the State of Texas, I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may now kiss the bride!
