"Teddy and McKenzie Biancotti’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous, from the family and friends who made the journey to share in their day, all the way down to the details of the decorations and venue. Thank you so much for including me in your special day. Congrats and best wishes to the newlywed couple! "

Honored guests, as we prepare to begin this ceremony, our couple have made two requests today. Please take this moment to silence your phones and put away all cameras. And secondly, when our bride goes to enter, please remain seated besides the parents and grandparents of our newlywed couple. Thank you.
Who gives this woman to this man?
McKenzie and Teddy, we’re going to take just a minute to let you have this moment with one another. Let’s not rush. I invite you to look around, to look over your shoulders, to look at your people. Take in their smiles and their love. I want you to pause and remember what today feels like.
On behalf of McKenzie and Teddy, I would like to thank you all for being here this afternoon. For taking the time and making the journey, and for all the effort that it takes-not only to be a part of this
day, but to be a part of each other's lives. Mckenzie and Teddy have invited you here to this beautiful place to show you just a glimpse of an important piece of their love. To share with you their journey through the past years of their relationship.
For those of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting, I’m Alysa. I’ve been a close friend of McKenzie’s for many years and I’ve been very fortunate to get to know Teddy over the past few years. I’m honored to be included in their ceremony today.
I wish I could tell you a single story about McKenzie and Teddy that summarizes their relationship and how they enrich each other's lives, and the lives of
each of us, but the truth is there isn't one single event that truly represents what they
mean to me, to each other, and to all of us. What I do know, is that both of them care deeply and passionately for each other; they protect each other; they make each other laugh and they think outside themselves. They help each other in ways that are obvious and unnoticed, but always appreciated.
Watching McKenzie and Teddy’s love grow, it was clear that the two of them represent a perfect pairing because each of them
complements the other so well. They balance one another, and while each of them are tremendous individuals on their own, together they are even better. And being better together, is what has ultimately lead us to being here today, witnessing their commitment to one another in front of those they love most.
The vows you will promise today are a way of saying to one another, "You know all
those things we've promised, hoped, and
dreamed? Well, I meant it all, every word." When you love someone, you do not love them all the time in exactly the same way. That is impossible. Yet that is what most of us expect. Therefore what you promise today must be renewed and reaffirmed tomorrow and all the tomorrows to come.
Teddy please repeat after me.
I, Teddy, take you, McKenzie, to be my wife. When you need a friend, I will be your best friend. When you need help, I will be there for you. When you need care, I will support you. When you want to try something new, I will encourage you. And when you do the same for me, I will appreciate you. But if you don't…I will forgive you. Every day. For the rest of my life.
McKenzie please repeat after me.
I, McKenzie, take you, Teddy, to be my husband. When you need a friend, I will be your best friend. When you need help, I will be there for you. When you need care, I will support you. When you want to try something new, I will encourage you. And when you do the same for me, I will appreciate you. But if you don't…I will forgive you. Every day. For the rest of my life.
May I have the rings.
You have for each other a ring. This most precious of metals symbolizes that love is the most precious element in your life together. The ring has no beginning and no ending, which symbolizes that the love between you will never cease. You place these rings upon each others fingers as a visible sign of the vows which, this day, have made you husband and wife.
Wedding rings are made precious by our wearing them. Your rings say that even in your uniqueness you have chosen to be bound together.
Teddy, place the ring on McKenzie’s finger and repeat after me.
I give you this ring as a symbol of my love; and with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you.
McKenzie, place the ring on Teddy’s finger and repeat after me.
I give you this ring as a symbol of my love; and with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you.
McKenzie and Teddy, today you join your separate lives together. On this day, this union is signified through the pouring of these two containers of sand: one representing you, the bride, and all that you have been, all that you are, and all that you will be; and the other representing you, the groom, and all that you have been, all that you are, and all that you will be. Once the sand is blended together, it cannot be separated. Just as the sand cannot be separated, your friends and family are here today to witness your love never separating.
By blending these sands together, we are recognizing the importance of blending two families together. May you always honor and protect your family.
McKenzie and Teddy, we have heard your promise, to share your lives in marriage, that you have made here today before all of us as witnesses. Therefore, in the honesty and sincerity of what you have said and done, it is my pleasure to declare you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride.
It’s my honor to announce to you for the very first time, Mr. and Mrs. Biancotti.
We are asking that everyone remain seated until your row is dismissed. The newlyweds will be in the hallway to accept your congratulations and well wishes. Cocktail hour will promptly begin and dinner is to follow.
