Officiated by Lee Rachel Bryant at Tavern on the Green in Queens, New York on June 11th, 2022.
"This was my first duty as an officiant of an actual wedding. I thought I would be nervous, but, I was not the least bit nervous. It was a blessed experience and I had a lot of requests for my phone number/card. I am looking forward to doing it again, on July 1st, at the same venue."

Welcome
“Good morning! We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the marriage of Mr. Conway Rampasaud and Ms. Kisha Augustin. When I sat with them a few weeks ago to discuss the particulars of this blessed event, I inquired about the beginning of their journey. They shared several fun facts! One fun fact was that Kisha had just about given up on meeting someone. Another is that Conway sent a lengthy dissertation to Kisha expressing his interest to which Kisha simply responded, ‘I’m intrigued.’ They even planned a date, but Conway was unable to meet Kisha that day. Yes, there were a few bumps on this serpentining road, but Conway shared one more fun fact that touched my spirit—he said, when he finally saw Kisha, he was so in awe of her beauty and light that he said to himself, “How can I get this to last more than one drink?” Well, Conway and Kisha, you are about to make this relationship last a lifetime. As you have stated, this is the “best relationship you have ever had in your lives” and you “complement one another.” Today, not only will you unite with one another, but you will blend your families, which further strengthens your bond as husband and wife…”
We will now have Mr. Dennis Rampasaud, the father of the groom begin our ceremony, followed by a scripture reading by Mr. Keni Augustin, and a musical selection to be sung by Ms. Sydney Rampasaud
Address of Vows
“Conway and Kisha, the words you’re about to exchange will solidify and edify the bond that will be your marriage. God has united the two of you. It has been shared that the road you have have taken to meet one another has been a winding one with a couple of detours. It is evident that it is God’s will that you become one, for that is what marriage is—oneness. Much like the way God is in your hearts, he must be the centerpiece of your marriage. Because God is love, and He loves us unconditionally, you must be willing to love one another in the same fashion. You are making promises to one another that will need endure the tests you will encounter on this journey. When times become difficult, remember your promises, for at the root of them is the love you have for one another.
Kisha, please share your vows with Conway…

“Forasmuch as Conway and Kisha have consented together in wholly wedlock and have witnessed the same before God and this company of friends and family, by the authority vested in me by the great state of NY—whose motto is ‘Excelsior,’ which means ‘Ever Upward,’ that Conway and Kisha are now husband and wife, according to the ordinance of God and the laws of the State of New York, in the name of The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit! Amen! Whom therefore God hath joined together, let NO MAN put asunder—you may now kiss each other!
