Megan & Brad
5/12/2022
Love is a miraculous gift, a wedding is a celebration of that magic, and that is why we are here today. We are gathered to be overjoyed for and with, Megan and Brad, who are renewing their marriage vows after 10 years and who are so wonderfully suited to one another. Married May 12, 2012, in Omaha, Nebraska. Both attended and met at the University of Nebraska. Megan who made the first move, no matter what Brad says. Having twin six-year-old boys, Miles and Colin who are getting ready for kindergarten. Brad a passionate golfer while Megan is reading her two books a week gives Brad that Golf time. They both love traveling?? It is a pure delight for us to see how happy two people can be. They are the promise of possibility and the expectation of a joyful surprise. We are here to celebrate, witness, and to honor these two people who have found each other 10 years ago.
We give thanks for the love that has gathered us together in this place, and especially for the beautiful, heartwarming love that Megan and Brad have chosen this day to reaffirm in marriage.
For all the beauty that you have bestowed upon them we give great thanks, for their open hearts and loving spirits, for their wisdom in choosing to love, for their willingness to walk on the path of true love, with all its joys and burdens and lessons.
Bless them now with your joyful abundant radiance, so that the words they say, the feelings that beautifully transform them in these moments, and the dreams that they dare to dream can be lived out in their marriage.
Expression of Intent
Do you Brad take Megan once again to be your beloved spouse, knowing in your heart that you will continue to be a faithful friend, and a loving companion? On this special day do you give your sacred vow that you will always be with Megan and support her, in times of sickness and in health, in times of joy and in times of sorrow? Do you promise to love her completely, to console and comfort her during difficult times, to laugh with her and to grieve with her, to share with her life’s simplest but most enduring pleasures, to be truthful and honest with her, and to cherish her, for as long as you both shall live?
Brad: I do.

Both of you promised to love for richer and for poorer-and it has come to pass. You’ve known plentiful times and lean times; you have loved through both.
Both of you promised to love in sickness and in health -- and it has come to pass. You've been strong and You've been weak. You've each had your turn to take care of the other. You have given and received comfort.
You promised to love for better and for worse and that, too, has come to pass.
Your love has made the good times better and the bad times bearable.
Twenty-five years ago, you promised to spend your lifetimes together. You were filled with hopes and dreams and youthful anticipation. Today you thank each other for making those hopes and dreams come true.
You thank each other for the years of joy for the laughter and the hugs and the unfailing, supportive love.
You have promised to love, and it has come to pass.
