"Brothers and Sisters; We are gathered here today in the sight of God and these witnesses to join together Steven Mark Spurlock and Linda Mae Winfrey in holy matrimony; which is an honorable estate, instituted by God, since the first man and the first woman walked upon the earth.

Therefore; it is not to be entered into unadvisedly nor lightly, but with the utmost reverence and sobriety. Into this holy estate these two persons come now to be joined. Therefore, if anyone can show just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

"A reading from the Apostle Paul,

The first letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, verses 4 through 7:

4 Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, 5 is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. 6 Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Let us pray for this man and woman as they make their marriage vows.

Father, as Steven and Linda pledge themselves to each other, help them and bless them that their love may be pure, and their vows may be true. We pray all this through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen."

Place the ring on her finger, and as you do, repeat after me, “Linda, with this ring, I thee wed."

STEVE REPEATS THE PHRASE AS HE PLACES THE RING ON LINDA'S FINGER.

Linda, please take the ring you have selected for Steven.
