Family and Friends,

We are gathered together here today to join Erin Beth Toevs and Christopher George Roberts in the spiritual union of marriage.

LOVE is defined as a profoundly tender passionate affection for another person, it is this love that they have for each other that has them standing before you today

It’s love that Erin and Chris have for everyone here with them, their family and friends, so you can all witness the start of a new chapter in their lives as husband and wife.

Chris and Erin would like to take a moment to remember their grandparents, although they are not physically here today, they are, and will always be in their hearts, now and forever.

It was his Grandma who he lovingly referred to as, “Old Martha Winstead”who Chris gives credit to as the one who gave him his passion and love of cooking, and for that Erin is forever grateful.

Today’s ceremony could not be happening or be possible, if it were not for the LOVE that their parents have for each other.

Erin’s Mom and Dad, Norm and Elaine have recently celebrated their love they have for each other on July 3rd, their 51st Wedding Anniversary

Chris & Erin, tomorrow will be your first full day as a married couple, tomorrow will also be the first game between Chris’s Dolphin’s and Erin’s beloved Patriot’s as husband and wife, always remember that it’s not whether you win or lose its how much fun you have being together with one another along with family and friends, making memories and enjoying a great AFC East rivalry tomorrow and forever, until death do you part.

I have recently learned some things that Erin and Chris love about each other.

Chris loves the fact that Erin laughs at his jokes even when they’re not funny. That she makes him feel loved like he never knew was possible until he met her. She lets him yell at the TV when the Red Sox lose, and Chris said that Erin has truly made him happier than he has ever been before and that he cherishes the relationship that they have and their love for each other

Erin loves how competitive Chris is. She loves the way that Chris looks at her. He always makes her laugh. She absolutely loves his cooking and loves that he loves lobster as much as she does. She says that Chris is her best friend. Chris is always there for her no matter what, when they are together she can be herself, and she loves his knowledge a random facts and movie quotes.

These are all tender passionate affections that they have for each other, which is how Love is defined.

Erin Toevs and Chris Roberts will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment to each other and as a symbol of their Love and Fidelity.

A ring is an unbroken circle, with ends that have been joined together that represent your union, it is also a symbol of completeness, just as you two complete each other. it is a symbol of infinity and of your infinite love for one another. It encircles and opening, which is the door to your future. When you look at the rings on your hands, be reminded of this moment, your commitment to one another, and the love you now feel for each other.
