"Ayan is one of my best friends from college, and getting to perform her wedding ceremony was truly truly special. It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding - lots of laughter, tears of joy, and a surprise sparkler entrance followed by a surprise choreographed dance by the bride and groom. "

Hello everyone, thank you all for coming, as a reminder, Ayan and Gabe have requested an unplugged ceremony, and so I ask that you please put all phones away into your pockets, purses, etc.
Once Gabe’s processional music starts, we’d like all phones put away.

Family and friends, thank you all for coming today to share in this joyous occasion. Today we are here to unite Ayan and Gabe in marriage. Now first things first, (to Ayan and Gabe) did you both find parking okay? Here at the venue? You drive yourself here or did a trusted person or Uber/Lyft drop you here? Good good. (Back to audience) For those of you on social media Ayan and Gabe have chosen the hashtag AyanAndGabeFoundParking which you can use to help document the evening and add to their story of adventures that have led us all here today.
I myself have not been married, but from what I’ve gathered about marriage is that it is about being there for your partner through sickness and in health – ya know, til death do us part. It is sticking up for your partner. Defending them. Being their strongest support. It’s building – building trust. Building a life together. It’s being curious – asking questions, asking how their day was, asking “Did you eat today?”
Ayan and Gabe had their first date at the Museum of Death in LA – so rather than death parting them, it’s what brought them together. Sickness and health – check!
For those who are not familiar, Ayan is a 2nd degree brown belt and Gabe is a 2nd degree black belt. They trained together for years at the dojo where they met and competed in various cities side by side. From 4th place medals to Grand Championship titles, these two never missed a beat when cheering each other on–though Ayan admits she could probably tone it down a little. So defending and supporting your partner – check!
Ayan and Gabe also started to build lego sets together – because of the pandemic, they wanted a hobby that did not include staring at a screen – they alternate who puts on what piece AND they’ll even turn the pages for one another in the instruction book - cute – Building, check!
And finally, hours after Gabe proposed, they celebrated by attending an immersive Alice in Wonderland experience called Curiouser and Curiouser – so curiosity… check!
According to my calculations from research I’d say you’re both ready, so let’s do this shall we?
Declaration of Intent
Do you Ayan take Gabe to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, for as long as you both shall live?
Ayan: “I do”

Vows
Ayan and Gabe have each prepared their own vows that they would like to recite before you this evening.

Rings
Ayan and Gabe have chosen rings to exchange with each other as a symbol of their love. Gabe, as you place this ring on Ayan’s finger please repeat after me.
Devon/Gabe: With this hand/ I will lift your sorrows / with this ring / I ask you to be mine
And Ayan, as you place this ring on Gabe’s finger please repeat after me.
Devon/Ayan: With this hand/ I will lift your sorrows / with this ring / I ask you to be mine
You may now kiss the bride
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the state of Arizona I now pronounce you husband and wife (or I now pronounce you married, etc)
Unity Ceremony
For their Unity Ceremony Ayan and Gabe have chosen to infuse their own Gin.
I will ask that you each pour the contents within your own container into the middle together. As the contents from each individual container is blended together it symbolizes the joining of your separate lives, friends and family, into one union, the beginning of your journey as husband and wife.
And now if everyone could please rise and join me in congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Harries
