We have gathered this afternoon to witness the marriage of BRIANNA MARIE SAVAGE AND DAKOTA JAMES GOFF, along with their son Tamyn and commit to sharing a lifetime together.
What greater thing than for two persons to feel the strength together; to strengthen each other in labor, to rest on each other in sorrow, to help each other in need, to share joy, and to be one with each other – whatever life has to offer.
I have taken some verbiage from one of Brianna’s posts on Facebook to Dakota:
She said and I quote: “I am so blessed to be able to say that I get to spend the rest of my life with this handsome stud! And the man of my dreams and the greatest Daddy. You are pure perfection, and I cannot wait for many more birthdays! Falling in love with my best friend must be the greatest accident that has ever happened to me! You are so special and mean so much to Bean and me! Thank you for settling for less, always chasing your dreams, and never giving up on us! Thank you for always being there, always making sure we are taken care of and for the endless snack runs that we send you on! Thank you for dealing with my shenanigans, and my crazy obsessions! Thank you for handling our mood swings like a boss and thank you for knowing that it is always caused by my Hangriness!! You are truly one in a million and we are so blessed that you have fallen in love with us and did not run away from the very intense duo that we are! Thank you for the lunch dates, for the many little surprises that mean so much to me! Thank you for simply being you! I know sometimes you are not the nicest to yourself….but I am here to lift you up and keep your head high (or beat you up with my puny fists)! I love you”!!
As you know this contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
Brianna and Dakota, today begins a life of giving and sharing, nurturing and support; allowing each other the freedom to change and grow as individuals while developing your mutual spirit as time goes by. In the art of marriage, the little things are the big things. It is about establishing a relationship in which the independence is equal, dependence and obligations are mutual.
Brianna and Dakota, you are about to make your promises to one another. You will find that as you live by these vows over the years, investing your time, love and commitment to one another, the happy times of your life will be twice as joyous because you will share them together in marriage.
Dakota James Goff, will you take Brianna Marie Savage, whose hand you hold, choosing her alone to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you live with her in the state of true matrimony? Will you love her and comfort her through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, always honoring her, and being faithful to her?

Brianna and Dakota have requested these vows as well.
Brianna/Dakota, I love you unconditionally and without hesitation. I vow to love you, encourage you, trust you, and respect you. As a family, we will create a home filled with learning, laughter, and compassion. I promise to work with you. To foster and cherish a relationship of equality knowing together we will build a better life far better than either of us could imagine alone. Today, I choose to be your husband/wife. I accept and love you as you are, and I offer myself in return. I will care for you, stand beside you, and share with you all of life’s adversities and all its joys from this day forward. And, for all the days of my life.
RING EXCHANGE
The ring is an unbroken circle and represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another.
Brianna, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love, and that I am choosing to share my life's journey with you. I give you this ring, with the pledge to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever.
Dakota, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love, and that I am choosing to share my life's journey with you. I give you this ring, with the pledge to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever.
Brianna and Dakota, I want to wish you both much love and happiness as you begin your new journey in life. Remember to keep lots of laughter in your life and love will never be far behind.
I leave you now with the following words:
May all that you are, always be in love. May all that is love always be in you. May your love be as beautiful on each day you share as it is on this day of celebration; and may each day you share be as precious to you as the day you first fell in love. May you always see and encourage the best in each other.
May the challenges life brings your way make your marriage even stronger, and may you always be each other's best friend and greatest love.
Brianna and Dakota, you have pledged your faith to each other in the company of your families and friend along with your son Braylon. Therefore, By the power vested in me by the State of West Virginia, I now pronounce you married.
You may now kiss!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Dakota and Brianna Goff.
