INVOCATION

Friends, we gather on this hallowed night,

At the edge of this world and next, to witness the union of two loving souls.

Tonight, the veil between worlds is at its thinnest.

We stand where flesh and magic meet, in the company of friends and spirits.

Adam and Michellette have chosen tonight for this reason,

to cast a bond for all eternity. A bond that even death won’t break.

DECLARATION OF INTENT

-Adam, will you take Michellette to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love her, to protect her, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, in good times or bad times, honoring her at all times, and being faithful to her, so long as you both shall live?

RING EXCHANGE

Ring bearers may come forward;

These rings are a symbol of the unbroken circle of love, because true love has no beginning and no end, and each of you is both the giver and the receiver. May these rings always remind you of the vows you have taken.

HANDFASTING

To honor this unbreakable bond, Adam and Michellette will now bind their hands as part of a traditional hand fasting.

This cord represents Adam and Michellette’s commitment to respect and cherish one another, and to build a life of joy and gratitude, from each season to the next.

PRONOUNCEMENT

Adam and Michellette as you have been, and as you will be, in this world and in every world to follow, together, may you be bound in love!
