Jake & Daisy Wedding

The Wedding of Jacob Wright & Daisy

Officiated by Pete "Aloha" Tingstrom at Tingstrom Estate in Kaneohe, Hawaii on October 9th, 2021. Witnessed by Gina Tingstrom and Ginny Wright.

ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"What a great couple and caring parents who wanted the best for the couple. They wanted the ceremony fairly basic with little frills. We couldn't help ourself, but to decorate the place as much as possible and give them things they did not pay for. They had a cute story about how they met....Jacob was attending a birthday party with a friend at the Green Pig Bar. His buddy was friends with Daisy's sister and she was extended the invite as well. Jacob took one look at Daisy and thought to himself...wow, she is pretty gorgeous. They started chatting, and later in the evening he told her..."I'm going to ask you out for a date".... This meet almost didn't happen. Daisy's sister invited her a week before the event; however, the day of the party, she felt a little "tired", and she had to be talked into going....afterwards she was surely glad she did. Their first date was to a movie theater. Daisy thought it was awesome that Jacob held her hand, and they both felt an instant connection. Feelings continued to grow for Jacob and he knew she was the one when they were both eating out of wine glasses - Jacob was eating cereal with milk and Daisy was eating flaming hot cheetos w/ chopsticks. Jacob finally got the courage to propose marriage, so he took Daisy to the Museum of Natural History at the University of Utah, where they had their second date. Throughout the date he was waiting for just the right location to propose marriage. The museum had a special exhibit in the Planitarium, and Jacob knew that this was it. There was no one around, so under the stars, moon, and the universe overhead, he proposed marriage on the spot. The weather was iffee for the ceremony and reception (outdoor). Winds were forecasted to be 20-30 knots and 30% chance of rain. The wind actually felt great and didn't affect the decorations much. It didn't rain during the ceremony, but it did a little bit during the reception. All in all everyone was very appreciative and had a great time."

Jacob Wright And Daisy’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Aloha to our Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests...Bienvenido a nuestros invitados

We are gathered together on this day to witness and celebrate the marriage of Jacob Wright & Daisy Garcia. We come together not to mark the start of a relationship, but to acknowledge and strengthen a bond that already exists. This ceremony is a public affirmation of that bond and as their dearest family and friends, it is our honor and privilege to stand witness to this event.

Love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home. With us today we have two families being unified with different upbringings and I can say that both parents are very happy these two are tying the knot. A special welcome and Aloha for those of you who travelled across the vast Pacific to be here with us today.

So how did this all begin you may ask? Jacob was attending a birthday party with a friend at the Green Pig Bar. His buddy was friends with Daisy's sister and she was extended the invite as well. Jacob took one look at Daisy and thought to himself...wow, she is pretty gorgeous. They started chatting, and later in the evening he told her..."I'm going to ask you out for a date"....

Jacob Wright and Daisy will now share their vows...y ahora por los votos

*(Vows)*

Do you Jacob Wright, take this woman Daisy Garcia, to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?

*(Wait for Confirmation)*

Do you Daisy Garcia take this man, Jacob Wright to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?

*(Wait for Confirmation)*

*(Ring Exchange)*

Having this love in your hearts, Jacob and Daisy have chosen to seal their vows by exchanging rings....el intercambio de anillos

From the earliest times, the circle has been a sign of completeness. The rings that you have chosen to wear have neither beginning nor end, much like your love for one another. They are a symbol of the words that you speak today. May these rings be from this day forward, your most treasured adornment, and may the love they symbolize, be your most precious possession. As you wear these rings, may they be constant reminders of these glad promises you are making today.

Jacob, take this ring, place it on Daisy's finger and repeat after me.

I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you.

Daisy, take this ring, place it on Jacob’s finger and repeat after me.

I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you.

Jacob and Daisy, you have come here today of your own free will and in the presence of family and friends, have declared your love and commitment to each other. You have given and received a ring as a symbol of your promises. By the power of your love and commitment to each other, and by the power vested in me by the American Marriage Ministries and the State of Hawaii, I now pronounce you husband and wife....Ahora los declaro marido y mujer.

You may seal your marriage with a kiss!

Congratulations and Felicidades. Friends and family, I now present to you this planet's newest married couple. Let’s hear it for ‘em!
