Minister: Hello everyone! I am so happy, and excited to welcome you all on this beautiful day to celebrate the union of Beau and Cheryl before God. My name is Shagun Oberoi and I am honored to officiate Cheryl and Beau’s wedding.
It is wonderful to have family and friends here to join us today! Cheryl and Beau would like to take this time to remember Cheryl’s beloved parents who are now in the presence of our God. They would like to acknowledge their love for them by placing these white roses on the chairs.
As the Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13:4 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.
Thank you, Lord, for blessing us and for giving us not just another day together, but the most special day where Beau and Cheryl will be united as one.
In the time Beau and Cheryl have spent together, they have built a sturdy foundation for a lifelong relationship. After a great deal of prayerful consideration, they have decided to commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. (Are you guys sure about this) 😊 😊
Family Blessing
Minister: Who gives this Bride today?
Bride's Companion: I do.
Wedding Sermon
Minister: Beau and Cheryl, as you stand here today before God, realize that you are preparing to celebrate one of life's greatest gifts. The vows that you will take today hold great importance, just as they did to our ancestors. Beau and Cheryl marriage is not easy, it takes a lot of work, love, time and effort as we read in the scripture before. Remember to keep God in “The Center” of your marriage. I promise you with God your marriage will build on an unshakeable foundation.
Consecration
Minister: As we gather here under the eyes of God, let us also recognize the seriousness of the occasion.
The Bible makes note of the power of partnership in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, it
reminds us that "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?"
I will now invite the Groom and Bride to exchange their vows.
Vows
Minister: Beau and Cheryl, you have prepared your own vows of commitment to share with one another.
Beau, would you like to go first?
Beau: (Groom states their vow...) Minister: Cheryl, whenever you're ready. Cheryl: (Bride states their vow...)
Declaration of Intent
Minister: Beau and Cheryl, you will now hold hands and face one another.
Under the eyes of God, Beau, do you take Cheryl as your Wife and your companion? Do you promise to share her laughter during the good times and wipe her tears during the bad, from this day forward?
