Welcome, we are gathered here today to join these two women in the bonds of matrimony, which is an honorable estate, and is to be entered into after much thought and with an abundance of love.

Marriage is the joyful uniting of a couple whose care, affection and understanding have developed into a deep and abiding love for one another. Marriage is the union of two individuals in heart, body, mind, and spirit. Therefore, marriage is not to be entered into lightly, but honestly, and deliberately.

By giving and receiving your vows, you have consented to be joined together in wedlock, and have pledged yourselves to each other for as long as you both shall live, and have witnessed the same, before this company.

Therefore, on this day, in accordance with the authority vested in me by the State of New York, I do hereby pronounce you wedded partners for life.
