"Alex’s and Summer’s dream wedding was curtailed days before it was supposed to happen because of Covid. But they wanted to be married more than they wanted the frills - so on July 3rd of 2020, a handful of us met in Alex’s childhood backyard and I performed the ceremony. This year, on their 1st anniversary, we finally had their dream ceremony, in the town where they met & fell in love! They renewed their vows, and they had the gowns, the flowers, the attendants & the reception..and it was spectacular! I thought I could never feel as honored as I did the first time I performed their ceremony - I was wrong. It was spectacular, not because of the bells & whistles, but because of the love I saw between, and supporting, these beautiful young women..and they chose for me to perform the ceremony twice! I’ve never been so humbled or privileged!"
