Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered together today before friends, family and above all else, God, to witness the holy matrimony of Jeannette Marie Petrulla and Michael James Jedziniak.

My name is Marisa Landolfi-Jefferson, I am Jeannette's niece, and over the past 37 years I have had a couple of promotions within our relationship. I started off as her first niece, then I got bumped up to the title of Goddaughter, then her flower girl and now I am her Minister. The benefits are lousy, but the titles are what mean the most to me and what defines our relationship. Not many people can say that they got to be their Aunt's flower girl AND minister. I'll be putting in for a raise, by the way. In all seriousness, I am so honored to be standing here in front of all of you to celebrate the joining of these two wonderful people. I remember when Aunt Jeannette first told me about Mike, and I could immediately tell that she was giddy just talking about him. And then once I met him, I could see why. Their relationship has blossomed into something that not many people get in a lifetime and their adoration and happiness towards each other is a true blessing. And remember, the secret to a good marriage is like enjoying a good bottle of wine, you open it up and let it breathe, if it doesn't look like it's breathing, give it mouth-to-mouth.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. We thank the Lord for all the blessings that brought us here today and those that brought Jeannette and Michael together to make this day possible.

We will now have a couple readings from family members. If I could first ask Mike's nephew, Robbie Jedziniak to kindly come up the the front for the reading of "The Art of a Good Marriage".

Love and marriage are truly one of God's greatest gifts and accomplishments. The Lord has filled us with love and allows us to grow that love by sharing it with someone else. And so, by giving selflessly to another, we make ourselves stronger and our lives richer.

Now I ask that the bride and groom to stand facing one another with their hands intertwined for the exchange of the vows.
