INVOCATION

Family & Friends

We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the joining of Andrew John Evans and Meghan Emily Colluci in the sacred institution of marriage.

They are standing here before you today because they have decided to entwine their lives together.

After today, they will not just be a couple, they will be a family, a single entity held together by love and devotion.

And we are all here to bear witness to the creation of this new family, through the union of Andrew and Meghan.

Today, they will affirm a bond to each other in front of all of you.

This affirmation means so much more because they are able to share it with all of you who are here today - their most beloved friends and family.

LIGHTNING OF THE REMEMBRANCE CANDLE

At this time, Andrew and Meghan would like to take a moment and light a candle and remember those who are not with them today, but are always and will forever be in their hearts.

Meghan’s Grandpa Colucci

Andrew’s Papa Sloan and Aunt Chrissy,

Grampy & Memé Evans and Aunt DiDi.

OFFICIANT TO THE COUPLE

Andrew and Meghan,

you are not only promising yourselves to each other, you are also committing to being strong for each other, to support and protect each other through all of the challenges you will face in this world.

Today is the day you will begin this new chapter in your lives.

And so without further ado, let us begin your declaration of intent to marry, to join as one ship sailing through the sea of life."

RING EXCHANGE

"A ring has no beginning or end. Its path is endless and a symbol of your endless love and respect for each other.

By placing these rings on each other's fingers, you are promising to not just love each other, but to honor each other, to be compasionate, patient, and understanding as you build your future together.

You can both feel the love around you.

These rings represent this love. Not just your love for each other, but from everyone here today. Let these rings be a reminder of that love, what you are feeling today."

It takes trust.

It takes patience.
