Good Afternoon Family Friends and Honored Guest

We are gathered here today to join Nicolas Flores and Ashlei Heu in the spiritual union of marriage.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Nicolas and Ashlei will now share their vows.

Do you Nicolas take this woman Ashlei Heu to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?

Do you Ashlei take this man Nicolas Flores to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?

Nicolas and Ashlei will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment.

Nicolas and Ashlei have chosen the the act of the unity sand pouring.

This union is a symbolic sand ceremony. The act of sand pouring shows Nicolas and AshleI coming together as one and representing the strong foundation of their relationship.

That foundation includes their values, their faith, all the important steps on their journeys that led them to be who they are today. This foundation will support them in their love as they grow and change together. Today you are making a lasting commitment to share the rest of your lives with each other.

That commitment is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand; one that represents Nicolas (who now pours in some of his sand) and the other that represents Ashlei (who pours some of her sand on top).

Now that you have completed the sand pouring by which symbolizes the merging of your two lives. I can now confirm by the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of California I now pronounce you husband and wife.
