INVOCATION / WELCOME

Good afternoon everyone ! Welcome, family and loved ones. We are gathered here today, surrounded by nature, to celebrate the joining of Falicia Krupinski and Joel Rodrigues in marriage. They chose us to be here today, to celebrate with them, because of our friendship and shared memories, so let’s make this day another great memory for them!

OFFICIANT’S SPEECH

Today is a celebration. A celebration of love,... commitment,... friendship,....and most importantly the celebration of two people, who will be in all of that together,... forever.

Joey and Falicia, you fell in love by chance in college, many years have passed, but you're here today because you're making a choice.... You are choosing each other to be with someone who enhances you, who makes you think, makes you smile, and makes every day brighter.

We are here today because Destiny brought us to witness your commitment to each other!

Today is THE DAY for the two of you. This is the Apex of decision making, with 100% commitment there is no coming back after that “yes” today.

And this moment is not supposed to be just a Final Fantasy of a young couple, this is a Call… of Duty and commitment to each other that you will have to honor for a lifetime.

And It Takes Two, strong friends, partners, individuals in deep love to sign into what you are going to commit to…here today.

I want you two to remember, there is nothing better for a relationship than a great conversation.

You cannot Bleach a marriage to make it clean again! Video Games will not make you win an argument Joey…. Muay Thai or Krav Maga won't help you either Falicia. There is no winner or loser in a marriage. If there is a winner, them both of you are losing.

Serenity, understanding of each other and putting One Piece together at a time… that’s what matters!…. Don’t rush, don’t push too much, smile everyday, share everything. It’s a team effort!

And…. You're about to make promises to each other… it’s time for the “yes, I will”.

So by the power of your love, and by the power vested in me by the State of Connecticut and the American Marriage Ministries, I now pronounce you husband and wife…. And Joey, you may now kiss the bride!
