Friends and Family,

Thank you all for joining us today to celebrate the union of Michelle and James in the commitment of marriage.

Marriage does not create a relationship. The love these two have shared has done that. And the love their friends and family have shared with them has reinforced it.

Rather, this ceremony is to make public and official that this love has prepared them to take the next step together. The ultimate sign of devotion that they can display.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities.

There will be struggles, have no doubt. But, if handled in kindness with one another, they will only serve to make you stronger.

Lastly, Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Michele and James have already exchanged rings as tokens of their love to one another, but have written their own vows and wish to share them now.
