We are gathered together here to join KRISTEN DAWN COSTELLO and TRISTEN ROBERT GIFFORD in the union of marriage as Sandy Gifford, Tristen's Momma; and Mildred and Ernest Frymyer, Kristen's grandparents look down on them.
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
Kristen and Tristen, today begins a life of giving and sharing, nurturing and support; allowing each other the freedom to change and grow as individuals while developing your mutual spirits as time goes by. In the art of marriage, the little things are the big things. It is about establishing a relationship in which independence is equal, dependence is mutual, and the obligation is reciprocated.
Today, your family and friends, along with your daughters Audree and Scarlett, and those who are in Heaven, are gathered to celebrate your marriage. Today we are privileged to witness two people commit to sharing a lifetime together.
Kristen and Tristen, you are about to make your promises to one another. You will find that as you live by these vows over the years, investing your time, love and your commitment to one another, the happy times of your lives will be twice as joyous because you will share these joys in marriage.
Do you KRISTEN DAWN COSTELLO take this man TRISTEN ROBERT GIFFORD to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?

*(Ring Exchange)*
The ring, an unbroken circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to each other.
Tristen, please take this ring and place it on Kristen's left hand and repeat after me:
I, Tristen Robert Gifford, give to you Kristen Dawn Costello, this ring, as a symbol of my love and that I am choosing to share my life's journeys with you. I give you this ring, with the pledge to love you today, tomorrow, always and Forever!

UNITY CANDLE CEREMONY ~~
Kristen and Tristen, the two separate candles symbolize your separate lives, separate families and separate sets of friends. As the two separate candles are lit by Kristen's Mom and Tristen's Grandmother, please come forward.
Please light the center candle together.
The individual candles represent your lives before today. Lighting the center candle represents that your two lives are now joined to one light and represents the joining together of your two families and sets of friends to one.
Now that you have lit a fire that fire should not go out. The two of you now have a fire that represents love, understanding and a philosophy of life.
It will give you heat, food, warmth and happiness. The new fire represents a new beginning - a new life and a new family. The fire should keep burning; you should stay together. You have lit the fire for life, until old age separates you.
Kristen and Tristen, I want to wish you both much love and happiness as you begin your new journey in life. Remember to keeps lots of laughter in your lives and love will never be far behind.
BLESSING ~~
I leave you with the following words: May all that you are always be in love. May all that is love always be in you. May your love be as beautiful on each day you share as it is on this day of celebration; and may each day you share be as precious to you as the day you first fell in love. May you always see and encourage the best in each other. May the challenges life brings your way make your marriage even stronger, and may you always be each other's best friend and greatest love.
Kristen and Tristen, you have pledged your faith to each other in the company of your families and circle of friends. Therefore, by the power vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the state of West Virginia, I now pronounce you married. You may now kiss!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Tristen Gifford.
