Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered together here to join Olivia and Abel in the beautiful, spiritual union of marriage.

This is the official contract that binds these amazing beings under one, unconditional love, and to enforce an eternal promise to be kept and held on to for many years to come.

-This Celebration is not only to rejoice because two creatures of God's hands found their soulmate out of the billions of people here on Earth.

But it is also to acknowledge and recognize a love that Olivia and Abel share between the depths of their hearts, and are ready to express through the following stages of each other's lives.

-We are admiring a commitment that the couple is ready to endure in through all the obstacles and temptations that will be thrown their way, not to overcome separately, but as a joint married couple. A four year commitment turned into an eternity of love.

We admire a commitment that will spread hope to those who doubt they will find "the one", and spread comfort to those who are patiently seeking their soulmate.

-and finally admiring a commitment, unifying them not by shared checkbooks or Netflix accounts, but by one of the most complex ideas and expressions many of us find hard to understand, Love.

It's crazy to think how unexpectedly love shines its light into our lives. I'm a firm believer that so many important instances in our lives are at the right place at the right time, no matter what it may be. A certain amount of years ago, on a day that may have been insignificant to the ordinary person, Olivia and Abel got ready for just another day of work, tied their shoes and fixed their hair, and little did they know that on that day, their lives were going to change forever. Their very positioning in that moment of time, a simple passing has led us all to this beautiful moment in life. Fate was eagerly waiting for that time to come, counting down the days to the seconds to place them in that right place at the right time, for Olivia and Abel to "meet their match".

Before the two met, whenever Abel would see a sunflower, he may not have given it a second thought, but when he sees one now, it'll remind him of his assertive, independent, intelligent, and fashionista of a wife.

And when Olivia sees a sombrero, hears the beautiful playing's of a Spanish guitar, or thinks of baseball and their Astros and Dodgers Rivalry feud, she'll be reminded of her caring, compassionate, family oriented, and full of life husband.

Not only will they continuously make each other stronger through the toughness of life, but they will get to forever enjoy eating pizza together, rocking out to their favorite music as a family, hiking through the tallest mountains, and most importantly, watching re-runs of New Girl, The Office, Game of Thrones and Shitt’s Creek until the end of time.

I'd like to take one moment to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings. We are apart of such a unique and amazing ceremony, getting to have experienced the couples love for hiking and accompanying them through this journey into their new chapter of life.

Everyone wants to live on the top of a Mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs on the hike up.

Their hike may have been long, their hike may have been difficult, it may have even been a smooth path with mile markers at every stop, but no matter what has happened on that time coming up,

every good and bad thing endured has led them to the top of their mountain,

and It's now all sunsets and city views from one new shared perspective.
