Welcome Friends and Family,

We are gathered together here to join Chris and Karen in the special union of marriage.

This partnership is not to be entered into lightly. It is to be thoughtfully and seriously agreed upon. With this should come a deep realization of its responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy, loving, and enduring home.

The verse that is truly special for these two describes today what we are here to witness.

1st Corinthians Chapter 13 verses 4 through 8:

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

These two individuals have joined together again, after such a long separation of time, to now become husband and wife. Let this time that they have together now be one of pure love, honesty and trust. For what has brought them together now stand the test of time.

I have known Karen for such a long time and only wish for her happiness. She has found that in this man, Chris, whom she connected with, yet again. I only wish for their happiness to flourish into a happy union filled with nothing but good memories, unconditional love, and above all, honesty.

I promised I'd keep this short and sweet. Now that I have, let the formalities continue.

If for any reason there is an objection to this marriage, may you speak now or forever hold your peace.

Chris and Karen will now share their vows and exchange rings as a sign of their commitment. These rings are an unbroken circle, representing an unending love.
