"The Baker-Garcia wedding was fantastic. Beautiful venue and everything went off without any issues. This was my first wedding so I was very nervous. I practiced what seemed like a million times so I knew I was prepared, but I was still nervous. Once I started speaking, the nerves pretty much went away and I was fine. The couple wanted a quick service so the entire thing was over in 30 minutes. The couple are like my own children so I have known them for a long time. What I liked most is that they wanted me to keep it fun and not serious. They are HUGE "The Office" fans so you may see a frequently used one liner from the show incorporated into their vows on my script. They LOVED it and so did the audience of 167 people. I received many positive responses and the wedding coordinator couldn't believe it was my first wedding to officiate. Great time, great wedding, fantastic couple! "

Opening Remarks:
Good Evening! On behalf of the Baker’s and Garcia’s I would like to welcome everyone as we celebrate this joyous occasion witnessing Anthony and Kelsey join together in union. All of us are fortunate to have been asked to witness the most important transition in a relationship between two people. This is the transition in which two people in love, commit themselves to each other, in word and action.
A true lasting marriage requires effort, commitment, and unending respect. As Anthony and Kelsey declare their love on this day, we reflect on the meaning of partnership and its importance to a successful union. Partners, in life, think of one another as teammates, equally capable, but each arriving with their own special skills.
A marriage thrives when each partner chooses to value the other: for everything they are, and for everything they are not. There is no limit to what a partnership can accomplish when trust and admiration flow abundantly. Today, Anthony and Kelsey acknowledge this with excitement as they prepare to join hands in marriage.
Family and friends let us pray together: Gracious Father God, we give you thanks for your gift of enduring love and your presence here with us now as we witness the vows of marriage between Anthony and Kelsey. We ask you bless this couple in their union and throughout their life together as husband and wife. Keep and guide them from this day forward. It is in Your name that we pray. Amen
All right, let’s get to the good part.
