Beginning of the Wedding Ceremony. Guests are seated followed by the entrance of the Bridal Party.

INVOCATION


Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,
We are gathered here today in the sight of God, and the presence of friends and loved ones, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments. We are here to give recognition to the beauty of love that is shared between Reigan Striano and Jeffrey Waldridge as they are joined in the spiritual union of marriage. Marriage is a contract not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously and with a deep realization of the obligations and responsibilities. Marriage is the moment where your hearts and souls are joined together for eternity.
Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

PRAYER


Heavenly Father, we humbly bow before you today praising You, Lord, and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for your blessings upon Reigan and Jeffrey, as we celebrate this momentous occasion in their lives. Grant them happiness and contentment, as their two lives become one, as they create a new family and explore the depths of their love for one another. Bless their families and friends and the relationships, which have supported, strengthened, and sustained them throughout their lives. Bless their home as a place of love and of peace.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.

The joining of two hearts as husband and wife is a commitment like no other. It offers opportunities for sharing and for personal growth that no other human relationship can equal. A husband and wife are each other's best friends, confidants, lovers, teachers, listeners, and critics. The bond between a husband and wife deepens and enriches every fact of life. Happiness is fuller, and commitments are stronger. Marriage also encourages new life and new experiences and finds new ways of expressing love through the ups and downs of life. and as your journey begins as husband and wife, I would ask you both remember to always treat each other with respect, and remind yourself often of what brought you here today.

Three Strands

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Solomon is talking here about the power of relationships.

Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor

Can get more accomplished, Better Quality

For if either falls, his companion can lift him up

Encouragement in times of struggle

if two lie down together, they can keep warm

Providing vital needs

if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him.

Defense, element of protection

Solomon talks of 2 being better that one,

2 have a better return on their work

2can help one another

2 can keep warm

2 can defend

and a cord of 2 strands is stronger than a single strand and not easily broken

A cord of three strands is not Quickly broken

In the case of marriage the cord is represented by,

Strand 1 Bride

Strand 2 Groom

Strand 3 God

However,

If God is the center of your marriage and You Obey his commands, Your marriage becomes a cord which is not Quickly Broken.

The ring, an unbroken circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another.

By the power vested in me by the State of Kentucky, I now pronounce you husband and wife.Jeffrey , you may now kiss your bride. Family and friends, I am proud to present for the first time as husband and wife, Mr. and Mrs.Jeffrey Waldridge .
