Good evening and welcome, everyone. Aubrey and Jennifer are so glad to have you here on this beautiful night.Love is a miracle we can experience every day. It is a promise of possibility; an expectation of joyful surprise. Most of all, love is a gift that can come to us in many forms, and a wedding a celebration of that gift. We are all gathered here together to celebrate for, and with, Aubrey and Jennifer. Anyone who has known these two for any length of time can see that they are so wonderfully suited for one another. Their love is a beautiful example of how happy two people can make each other.

As we gather together to witness and honor this union, we can each feel a sense of gratitude for the love that has brought us to this place tonight. The Welsh poet Idris Davies once wrote, “I broke my heart in five pieces, and buried four by the sea. But the best part I gave to my love, who gave all their heart to me.”We are grateful to Aubrey and Jennifer for opening up their spirits to love, and for allowing us all to be part of this special evening as they pledge to give their hearts to one another. May the promises that they make, and the dreams that they dream, be lived out in their marriage every day.When we choose to marry, we are promising not only our own growth, but also our willingness to nurture and support the growth of another human being. By entering into marriage, we are saying “I promise to love you today, and to love you through all of our tomorrows.”Aubrey and Jennifer, may each day you spend together be illuminated by the light of love. May you be mindful to express that love to one another always, and may your shared vision provide a path that you can walk together, through life’s long and uneven journey. 

RINGS(while the couple is placing the rings on each other’s fingers)The wedding rings Aubrey and Jennifer have chosen serve as an external symbol of the deep and spiritual bond to which they have both committed themselves. As you exchange these rings, may they serve as a seal of the vows that you are making to each other here tonight.VOWSDo you, Jennifer, take Aubrey to be your husband, knowing in your heart that you will be a faithful, loving companion? Do you give your solemn vow that you will support him, in times of sickness and times of health, in times of prosperity and times of hardship, in times of joy and times of sorrow? Do you promise to love him completely, to console and comfort him during difficult times, to laugh with him and grieve with him, and always be truthful and honest, honoring your love above all else?(I do)
