Country Wedding of Brian & Jen

The Wedding of Jennifer Peirce & Brian Enyart

Officiated by Wendeva Dagnan Allen at Back yard in the country in Galesburg, Michigan on September 12th, 2020.

ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"Their wedding was so perfect for them. It was simple and country. Right down to the boots and hay bales! I was very nervous because I knew the bride since she a young girl and all of her family. It took me awhile to write everything for their wedding. I let them read the ceremony before and that way they can make any changes. But it was perfect for them! There was so much love and laughter at their wedding. I felt so good after it was done, all my worries went away. "

INVOCATION

Welcome... Look what love has brought together! We have gathered here today to celebrate the most intimate of bond between two people,

The marriage of Brian and Jennifer.

Who gives this bride away?

They are so happy that you could be here to share in their special day. But there are some very special people that are missing from this celebration. We wanted to let them know just how much they are loved and we know they are here with us. You all have been invited here not just as guests to a wedding, but as close and important witnesses of the love that they share.

Their Story started when they met on a dating website. I know…. But they did. They chatted for a little while then they both disappeared on line. Then a couple of months later. They found each other again. Brian asked Jen to dinner but she said no because she didn’t want to be stuck at a table and have no escape route! But she did go for a walk in the park with him. Thank goodness that went good or Jennifer would have been the runaway date! Now look where she is, marrying him! Turns out they are a perfect match and they adore each other!

A Poem

Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth, always hopes, always perseveres. Love Never Fails.

VOWS EXCHANGE

Now comes the time where you express your binding promises to love, honor, and cherish one another. If you are ready to make these promises to each other, Will you now face each other and declare your vows to each other.

May I have the rings please…

These rings are a perfect circle, They have no beginning and no end but these rings do have a starting point… Rock is dug up from the earth. The metals are liquefied in a furnace at 1000 degrees. The hot metal is forged, cooled then painstakingly polished. Then something beautiful is made from raw elements. Love is like that. It comes from humble beginnings, made by imperfect people. It is a process of making something beautiful where there was nothing at all.

When you look at these rings on your hands, be reminded of this moment, your commitment, and the love you feel for each other.

Brian, place the ring on Jennifer’s finger and repeat after me:

With this ring I, Brian, take you, Jennifer, to be no other than yourself. Loving what I know of you, and trusting what I do not yet know, I will respect your integrity and have faith in your abiding love for me, through all our years, and in all that life may bring us.

Jennifer place the ring on Brian’s finger and repeat after me:

With this ring I, Jennifer, take you, Brian, to be no other than yourself. Loving what I know of you, and trusting what I do not yet know, I will respect your integrity and have faith in your abiding love for me, through all our years, and in all that life may bring us.

I would like to say a prayer at this time. Let us pray.

May your marriage bring glory to God, joy to one another and blessings to your family. May love and laughter fill your hearts and your home throughout all the days of your lives. May you face every challenge hand in hand and side by side knowing that with God’s grace, you will conquer all obstacles together. May the world be a better place because you two of you fell in love! In Jesus’ name, AMEN

PRONOUNCEMENT

Now that Brian and Jennifer have exchanged their vows and rings in our presence.

Brian you may now kiss your bride!

I now have the honor to introduce for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Enyart
