ABOUT THIS WEDDING
"This was my 3rd wedding to officiate however 1st one for a couple I did not know prior to the ceremony. I was a little nervous but got over that quickly. The bride's godmother could not travel from CA so she was planning to join on Zoom to perform the traditional African sacrament. Unfortunately, the iPad overheated (we are in Florida) so we had to do by phone instead. I absolutely loved the African sacrament. They did shots of water, gin and then fed each other salt, pepper and honey. Then the bridal party all ate coconut pieces. There was a meaning for each item in order to bless the marriage. It was beautiful!!!"
