INVOCATION
Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests, We are gathered here today in the sight of God, and the presence of friends and loved ones, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments. We are here to give recognition to the beauty of love that is shared between Caroline Grace Holloway and Nicholas Blaine Thomas as they are joined in the spiritual union of marriage. Marriage is a contract not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously and with a deep realization of the obligations and responsibilities. Marriage is the moment where your hearts and souls are joined together for eternity. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we humbly bow before you today praising You, Lord, and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for your blessings upon Caroline and Nicholas, as we celebrate this momentous occasion in their lives. Grant them happiness and contentment, as their two lives become one, as they create a new family and explore the depths of their love for one another. Bless their families and friends and the relationships, which have supported, strengthened, and sustained them throughout their lives. Bless their home as a place of love and of peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
The joining of two hearts as husband and wife is a commitment like no other. It offers opportunities for sharing and for personal growth that no other human relationship can equal. A husband and wife are each other's best friends, confidants, lovers, teachers, listeners, and critics. The bond between a husband and wife deepens and enriches every fact of life. Happiness is fuller, and commitments are stronger. Marriage also encourages new life and new experiences and finds new ways of expressing love through the ups and downs of life. and as your journey begins as husband and wife, I would ask you both remember to always treat each other with respect, and remind yourself often of what brought you here today.

COMMUNION & READING
When I met with Caroline and Nick to discuss the Wedding Ceremony they requested a time for Communion. My first thoughts were, that’s pretty cool since I had never been to a wedding with a Communion service. As I was putting the ceremony together I realized how closely Communion and Marriage were Related.
Thinking about the Bride and Bridegroom;
“The bridegroom gives everything he has for the bride, even his life. The bride must do likewise. He calls her. If she says yes, everything he has becomes hers, and everything she has becomes his. Her burdens become his burdens, her sins become his sins. He becomes hers, and she becomes his. She leaves her old life behind for a new one, to go with her beloved. Wherever he goes, she goes with him, and wherever she dwells, he never leaves her. He loves her with all his being, as she loves him. The one lives for the other, and the other for the one. The two become as one.”
Just as in Our relationship with Christ , Our Marriage relationships are filled with virtues such as Compassion, Kindness, Humility, Gentleness, Patience and Forgiveness.
I’d like to read to you now from Colossians Chapter 3 verses 14-17 which perfectly sum up the words I’ve just spoken;
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Caroline and Nicholas would now like to invite you into a time of
Communion.
