Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,
I know that Greg and Cindy truly appreciate you coming to this celebration. Having you here is a big part of what makes this event so special for them. Today we welcome those who came from near and far. I'd also like to take the time to acknowledge those who were unable to be here and to those who are no longer with us. Greg's Mother, Janice, did have the pleasure of meeting Cindy and instantly fell in love. Cindy cherishes the 3 years they had together. We know they are all celebrating with us today.
Good afternoon,
My name is Scott Walker. I am Cindy's brother and I’m honored to have been asked to officiate today’s ceremony. This is a special day for me as well, as I am also celebrating my wedding anniversary. Let me take this opportunity to wish my beautiful wife, Susan, a Happy Anniversary of 22 years.
Ten years ago, a dear and mutual friend, Joanne Ortega Duncan, introduced these two. Greg and Cindy have been inseparable ever since. The happy couple would like to give a personal thank you to Joanne with sincere love and gratitude. So, today, after 10 years, we finally get to see Greg and Cindy tie the knot. Let me be the first to say, 'It's about damn time".
We are gathered here today to join Cynthia Elizabeth Walker and Gregory Jon Kuhlman in the spiritual union of marriage.
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home. As a testament to this joyous and loving relationship, not one cross word has ever been exchanged between Greg and Cindy in all the years they have been together.
Cynthia Elizabeth Walker and Gregory Jon Kuhlman will now share their vows.
