INVOCATION

Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered here today in the sight of God, and the presence of friends and loved ones, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments. We are here to give recognition the beauty of love that is shared between Jasmine and Justin as they complete their family in holy matrimony. Marriage is a contract not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously and with a deep realization of the obligations and responsibilities. Marriage is the moment where your hearts and souls are joined together for eternity.

READING

A reading from the Apostle Paul, The first letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, verses 4 through 7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Let us pray for this man and woman as they make their marriage vows.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we humbly bow before you today praising You, Lord, and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for your blessings upon Justin and Jasmine, as we celebrate this momentous occasion in their lives. Grant them happiness and contentment, as their two lives become one, as they create a new family and explore the depths of their love for one another. Bless their families and friends and the relationships, which have supported, strengthened and sustained them throughout their lives. Bless their home as a place of love and of peace. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

The ring, an unbroken circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another.

Jasmine, please place this ring on Justin's finger and repeat after me.

PRAYER

May Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, always be at the center of the new lives that Jasmine and Justin are now starting to build together and that they may know the ways of true love and kindness. I pray that their home will always be full of laughter and love and may the Lord bless them all the days of their lives and fill them with His joy. Amen.

PRONOUNCEMENT

(The minister now joins their right hands together and says): Those whom God has joined together, let no man put asunder. Justin and Jasmine, you have pledged your faith to each other in the company of your family and friends and having declared same by the giving and receiving of rings. By the power vested in me by the State of Texas, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your beautiful bride.

---WAIT--- (Jasmine gets the flowers back and they face the audience)

Family and friends, I am proud to present for the first time as husband and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Justin Bunker.

On behalf of the bride and groom thank you for being here to celebrate the joining of these two lives together.

Please make your way into the reception hall and join us for cocktail hours while the Bride & Groom take some pictures. Dinner and dancing to follow the presentation of the couple.
