Officiated by David John Pettinicchi at TBD in New Milford, Connecticut on September 13th, 2020.
"Sandy and Matt were married a The Hangar, located at the Candlelight Inn in New Milford, CT. It is an actual wooden airplane hanger next to a grassy (and still operating) runway. It's open on both ends so plenty of fresh air flowing for social distancing purposes. The actual ceremony was held outside under a massive oak tree. Sandy and Matt had a huge wedding party and a number of guests (well under the state guidelines). And a cute little ring bearer, who did a great job. The weather was beautiful so it was easy to socially distance without making the ceremony look awkward or impersonal. I also did not touch the rings either. Sandy is the daughter of a very dear work friend, which made the whole experience more meaningful. Matt is a police officer, and was surprisingly nervous during the ceremony!!! But they did a great job and it was a very nice, meaningful ceremony."
