Hello and welcome everyone. Thank you all for being here for this glorious occasion.

I'm Luigi and I'm Jeremy's uncle.

Why I'm officiating. Some time in July my wife and I were talking to Jeremy and Erika on the Alexa Echo. While talking to them I noticed they kept looking at each other and each would say you ask him. I'm thinking what in the world are they talking about. I looked at my wife and she looked at me with a puzzled look. Then they both said we want you to officiate our wedding. I'm thinking are you talking to me. My first response was no way. Mary & Rich would have never dreamed that I would be officiating their sons wedding. This was never on my list of things that I would be doing in my lifetime

Getting back to that echo call. My wife said you're going to do it. I said you know what? I am going to do this. This is quite an honor and privilege. I went to the website applied to be a minister. Got my certificate and have been reading, watching videos and asking for advise.

What's funny is that when I tell my friends and people I work with that I'm going to officiate my nephews wedding. They laugh and say you ? Ha. My response to them was that I can do funerals also.

In my recent ministry training they said to say something about the couple.

Let me tell you about Jerms. If I had a son I'd want him to be like Jeremy. Jeremy has always been the best kid growing up. He's always been very kind and generous. Jeremy and his family would come to NC every summer for a week and we'd all go to the beach. He loved to hunt for shark teeth on the beach with my wife Monica. I remember on one occasion they were walking down the beach along the waters edge Just the two of them. My sister kept watching them as they walked further and further down the beach out of sight. They were gone for a long time. He was just a little guy. His mom got worried about him. I said they're fine. You see they were like black crows looking for a shiny. Once they were in that zone you couldn't stop them. He would call them shark tooth teeth when he would spot one pick it up and give it to his aunt. He always tried to find the biggest but they usually were big enough to fit on his little finger tip.

The Day's have been coming to North Carolina since 1983.

My sister was talking about how Jeremy learned how to swim with us. There's area's where when the tide goes out and leaves little ponds. That was where he learned how to swim.

He also learned how to go up and down stairs at one of the cottages we stayed at.

Even though we live in North Carolina we've always been close.

One of their trips down south we went by a friends of ours house. They had a son and a daughter. The son Brandon was about Jeremy's age. They were about 5 or 6 at the time. We were all outside talking when Brandon spotted a frog. He picked it up and threw it as far as he could. Jeremy got mad and told him you should not hurt a living thing. I don't think he liked Brandon after that. That's how Jeremy is he would not hurt a living thing.

It's obvious that I could say a lot about Jeremy. I've known him longer.

Erika. We haven't met you until yesterday. We've talked on the phone and the Echo. Your a very smart, pretty lady and a very good dancer from the video Jeremy showed us. We didn't know much about you so I asked Jeremy about you. He said Erika is sweet and kind. She always puts others before herself and looks for the good in everyone and everything. LOL pretty much the opposite of me. She is very family oriented. She is an avid reader. She loves watching Harry Potter movies. Erika loves my cats even though they drive her crazy. She loves pub food as much as I do. She is always willing to try something new. She likes to stay active and has no idea on how to sit still. She is definitely a care giver. She took care of me and helped me get through the police academy. Nothing she loves and excites her more than becoming a mother which is coming soon. LOL

Your going to be Great parents! We wish you all the best.
