I believe in a divine force far too magnificently complex for me to truly understand, but yet I yield a strong faith in it. I find beauty in all the religions I have studied, but the one thing I hold most true to my heart is Love. Everlasting, ever evolving Love. Let me give you my example... My fun profile picture was taken in January 2025 on Groove Cruise. For those who don't know, Groove Cruise is an incredible EDM Festival on a cruise! 96 hours of EDM, multiple themes, incredible artists... I could go on, but if that peaks your interest, google for more. The picture was taken by my husband, Joe. I do not call him Joe (it actually feels funny saying it in my head as I type this), I call him LOVE (ahhh... that's better). I just celebrated my 50th birthday and as I reflect on my life with Love, I have been blessed to have known him for 32 years, and truly blessed to have been married to him since November 02, 2007. This picture is a testimony to what true love can endure. To still take time out to just have fun together, to feel the ecstasy of freedom with a partner that doesn't judge but rather rejoices in all the things that make me, me. Love is the one that always makes me feel safe... safe to be myself and safe to tell the truth about how I feel, because I know that he will always find those things to be his favorite part about me. As we went through some very tough emotional years with our teenage daughters and suffered the loss of dear family members, we held on tight to each other. We supported each other and created a strength that without, neither would have survived. We take every opportunity to lift each other up. I am Love's biggest cheerleader and he is mine. We support each other's growth and changes as we age and matriculate through life's ups and downs. We share in each other's likes even if they are not our own. Case in point, me attending Tony Robbin's Date with Destiny (2x). Never in a million years would I have thought just how wonderful it turned out to be! I am so grateful to have submitted to something that at first gave me reticence, because of the silly story I was telling myself in my head. I rewrote the story and it is a beauty! All because of Love. And vice versa, my husband has thanked me numerous times for introducing him to Groove Cruise. I saw the Netflix documentary, and knew I had to see it in person - what an energy! We had such a blast, you can catch us back again in 2026! Love booked us a fabulous room for the next one before the first one was over. All because we share the same sense of adventure and trust in one another to push each other a little past our comfort zones to spark growth that keeps us vibrant. We have an incredible masculine and feminine balance. Now don't get me wrong, it is not just a girl and guy thing, gay relationships require the same balance. My strong feminine energy are the perfect match for Love's strapping and sexy masculine energy. These energies have existed for as long as time. Love is familiar in a way that can often be hard to describe... kind of like describing a color. Love is a feeling that is intoxicating and addictive. I accept and do not question the intent of all the changes he will make as not just a man, but as a human being, and he offers the same to me. I wish all persons find their everlasting partner through this beautiful journey of life; to feel seen, and accepted. Finding Love has been the greatest source of joy.
