Shayne lives in Texas and was ordained by American Marriage Ministries on May 26th, 2016.
I reside in Texas, the San Antonio area. Growing up as Baptist and earning my degree in Anthropology at The University of Texas at San Antonio, I recognize the diversity of the cultural meanings of marriage. I am a young adult, and was born in 1992. Don't look down on my youth. At 15 I was award the rank of Eagle Scout, meaning that I have ingrained into my life and person the codes of what it takes to be an Eagle Scout. I live our motto of 'Be Prepared.' Boy Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight. Boy Scout Law: A Scout is: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. Boy Scout Slogan: Do a Good Turn Daily! I am a lover of outdoors and live by the code of the Scouts Outdoor Code: As an American, I will do my best to - Be clean in my outdoor manners Be careful with fire Be considerate in the outdoors, and Be conservation minded. That is a perfect way to sum me up, but I also hold my Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, showing my mental strength and fortitude, dedication to what I set my mind to, and reaffirming the Boy Scout Law. Still more, I am a member of ???: -Omicron Delta Kappa- The National Leadership Honors Society. Since being introduced to the Boy Scouts of America at 11, I have lived a life of Leadership and Servant Leadership. A code of Honor few can place their name too. Some things I believe alongside that are: Despite your Culture and Beliefs there is a constant, and fundamental in Biblical Marriages, which is the choice to Love -- to put the other person's needs over yours -- and commit to each other in the bond of marriage, as one, no matter what happens. Marriage takes both to fully commit to it to work. Both partners must choose to put the other's needs before their own. It is a choice, daily made to put your spouse above your needs and to work together as one. Some quick questions to clear up. 1: I do believe in the Authority of the Bible. 2: I recognize that outside of the Biblical Church, marriage can be dramatically different and should not be filtered through the Bible. 3: If you ask me, I will give a Biblical Definition of Marriage. I encourage you to ask me more about my views of marriage. 4: I do recognize the right of all persons to be married by the law of the place they reside. 5: Recognizing that all persons have the right to marriage does not mean I will marry just anyone. 6: I recommend that all people do both pre-marital and post-marital counseling. The transition, even if you have lived together for a while, is a change. 7: I do not have any experience in marital counseling and will refer you elsewhere. 8: I am a 1/4 Scottish, with a strong connection back to my grandfather's side which was strong Scottish. I have my own dress kilt, and will gladly wear it if you want to add a little; flare, unorthodox look and feel, or spice things up at the pulpit. Or, if you are Scottish and wanting the groom and/or the groomsmen in kilts, I can compliment that nicely. You can reach me at [email protected]. Please begin the subject with - MARRIAGE- for all inquires.
