Same sex marriages have always been frowned upon and not a legally binding relationship and when same sex marriages became legal in the state of Texas, two of my oldest and dearest friends that had been together for almost 20 years, wanted to make it legal so they called me and by the end of the day, we planned a ceremony. I made a 14 hour drive to Texas the next week. It’s been like 7 years they have been married now and we still talk about it because we made the front page of the news and partied hard. And thats how I had the pleasure of beginning my ordination journey❤️
