I'm a writer and speaker - exactly what you want in a wedding officiant. I like to plan ahead, which means I write out my remarks for you to read and approve before your wedding day. Sacred and traditional or creative and clever - I consider it an honor to customize a ceremony specifically for you and your partner. A lifelong commitment doesn't happen everyday so even if the 'form' of a wedding varies depending on your personality, the 'function' of a memorable and meaningful ceremony doesn't. I have an M.A. in systematic theology and I've spoken at conferences, workshops, and retreats. I love small groups as well as audiences in the hundreds. I'm comfortable in front of people but I'm also mindful of doing my part without being conspicuous. My interests include fiction, film, comics, pop culture, science fiction, cooking, health and wellness, religion and technology. I hope you'll consider me and I look forward to hearing from you.
