Officiated by Kimberly Dawn Peterson at Fireflies’s Farm 26095 Ridgeview Rd, Paola, KS 66071 in Paola, Kansas on September 12th, 2026.
"This was a fabulous outdoor wedding event! The Bride and Groom were exceptionally gracious for some unforeseen things that came up during the ceremony. the wind picked up, hard and fast! My hair flew everywhere making it hard to read my script, and the microphone picked up the whipping sound of the wind and not my voice. I had to turn off the mic and go the old fashioned way - speaking loudly over the tempest! The bridesmaids also had their hair blown all over the place while standing at the alter. At one point, the wind actually ripped my speech out of my hands! it all worked out and the bride and groom took it all in stride. There was a lot of laughter and celebration in this ceremony. "
Wedding of Addison and Brayden Allenbrand
Good afternoon! Thank you all for coming.
My name is Harper Peterson, and it is my honor to officiate today’s Wedding! How exciting is it to be a part of Addison and Braydon’s Ceremony?!! (yes!)
I would just like to remind everyone that the bride and groom have requested that this evening be a cell phone/camera free event.
The bride and groom have hired professional photographer, “Amy Sheridon with “Starr Photography” to capture all the beautiful moments and forever treasured photos.
So, please make sure all phones are either turned off or set to silent.
Here to assist you after the processional is Wedding Planner, Ashlyn Burrus, owner/operator of Town Square Events.
Lets begin, (music)
(Wedding Party enters)
"Please stand for the bride" ( move left toward groomsman, away from groom so no photo bomb)
wait until the bride is given to the groom for handshake/hug, ( uncle, “Aaron” returns back to the wedding line, groom takes the bride by the hand and leads her to the altar.)
“Thank you Aaron”
"you may be seated"
“We are gathered here, in the presence of God, Family, and Friends, to unite Addison and Braydon in marriage.
Marriage is an honorable estate, and is therefore not to be entered into lightly, but reverently, advisedly, soberly, and with God's blessing.
Today, Addison and Brayden will receive God's greatest gift;
another person to share with, grow with, change with, be joyful with, and stand with as one, when trials and tribulations enter their lives.
It is fitting therefore, that we should, on this occasion, begin by
asking for God's blessing on this marriage.
Let us pray…
Heavenly Father, we gather to celebrate your gift of love, and its presence among us.
We rejoice that Addison and Brayden have chosen to commit themselves to a life of loving faithfulness to one another.
We praise you Lord, for the ways you have touched our lives with loving relationships, and we give thanks for the special devotion and friendship you have put into Addison and Brayden's hearts.
Renew within us a loving spirit.
Enrich our lives with the gracious gift of your love so that we may embrace others with that same devotion.
May our participation in this celebration of marriage and commitment, give us a new joy and responsiveness to the relationships we cherish.
In your loving arms we pray,
Amen
Addison and Brayden have chosen to write their vows,
and it is with these words they express their binding promise to love, honor, and cherish one another

Addison when you are ready (say vows)
Brayden when you are ready (say vows)
Who has the rings? ( men in black with briefcases hands each a ring)
Thank you Chase and Brayden
A ring has no beginning and no end.
Its path is endless and a symbol of your eternal love and respect for each other.
The rings you are about to place on each other's fingers are symbols of the love you share.
They will remind you of the vows you have just spoken, and of the eternal love that you have for one another.
By placing these rings on each other's fingers, you are promising not to just love each other, but to honor each other, to be compassionate, patient and understanding as you build your future together
Let these rings be a reminder of that love.
Brayden, will you place your ring on Addison's finger and repeat after me: ***
Addison, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love,
I pledge to honor and support you today, tomorrow, always and forever. (Brayden repeats)
Addison, will you place your ring on Brayden's finger and repeat after me: ***
Brayden, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, I pledge to honor and support you today, tomorrow, always and forever. (Addison repeat ***
Handfasting is an ancient Celtic tradition dating back thousands of years.
It is a physical representation of the binding of two lives, two hearts, and two spirits.
The phrase "Tying the Knot" comes from this very ritual. ***
Lets have the bride and groom face each other and grab each other's right hands by the wrists, joining at the pulse point, the heartbeat of your partner.
I will tie three knots:
As the knots are tied, let it seal your intentions and promises to one another, (Tie knots) (give speech to best man to hold for me)
The first knot represents Brayden's love for Addison.
The second knot represents Addison's love for Brayden,
and the third knot represents the love that Brayden and Addison have for all their family and friends who are here at this ceremony.
These are the hands of your best friend,
Young and strong and full of love for you.
These are the hands that will work alongside yours to build a life together,
These are the hands that will hold you with tenderness and strength through every season of life.
May all the love, happiness, and dreams you share, be tied into your marriage from this day forward. ( pull hands from cord)
This is a keepsake box, the symbolism is that if during your marriage, you have an argument, in which you find it difficult to apologize, the idea is that you put your handfasted knot box onto a pillow - as a reminder, without saying anything- of the promises you made on your wedding day…
Brayden and Addison, you have declared your intent and exchanged solemn vows of love and faithfulness in the presence of God and these witnesses, ( step out of frame here)
So, by the power vested in me by the state of Kansas, I now declare you husband and wife!
you may kiss the bride!
I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Brayden Allenbrand
Our couple and their wedding party are meeting up with Starr Photography for pictures. In the meantime, can I have immediate family members remain seated.
The rest of you are invited to head on into the cocktail lean to, adjacent to the Barn area, which is up and to the first left, where there will be an open bar - in about 40 minutes - Ashlyn, the wedding coordinator, will lead you to the Two Doves Barn for the reception that starts at 6PM
