ABOUT THIS WEDDING
"Marrying my son, Dylan, to his bride, Casey, was one of the greatest honors and special moments of my life. It was the first time I had done this, and I was very nervous, but everything went great. My son and his bride were delighted with the way it went, and I even received compliments from people I didn't know for my part in the ceremony. The most difficult part for me was getting through it without choking up. If you ever have the chance to officiate the wedding of a family member or good friend, you should take it. My only recommendation would be to practice regularly before the wedding and keep a copy of the ceremony script at the podium to fall back on if nerves or emotions become an issue."
