"The private wedding attended by four people during the 2020 pandemic took place in the waters of the Río Grande. It was a beautiful morning on All Saint’s Day, and there was a rainbow blessing us in the sky. Denni and Nestor met in the music scene and became band mates and best friends, eventually falling in love. I’ve had the pleasure of making music with them and was so excited to join them in marriage. We were so happy to have such an intimate and perfect day on the river, with just love and nature all around us in our beloved Valley Delta. "

Oh glorious morning! We’ve traversed over the native lands of our ancestors to reunite with the spirit of the Río Grande, so that the spirit may bear witness to this sacred union.
We come not only to greet the dawning of a new day, but to greet the dawning of a new era in the lives of Denni Arjona and Nestor Del Toro.
5 years ago, these two beautiful individuals met each other through a shared love of music, grew to love one another and trust one another and decided to begin walking the path of life together, bearing the burdens of life together. Their love has created a beautiful song, whose melody is heard and appreciated by all those who know them.
We stand in these waters to create a sacred space, witnessed not only by the spirits of the land and our ancestors, but also all our friends and family who are with us in spirit.
In this space we recognize Our power, and we declare Our intent to join Nestor and Denni in a union of marriage, and to now witness their vows of trust and solidarity to each other.
