WELCOME:

Dear Family & Friends, on behalf of the Coursey and Roos families I welcome you to this beautiful back drop today. To get here cost each of you something to be here and witnesses the beginning of a journey between Corey Roos and Morgan Corsey on this special day and in this spiritual union of marriage.

The covenant of marriage is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. The "secret ingredients" of an enduring marriage are love, laughter, loyalty, respect and self-less understanding. Together, this can be achieved and sustained for decades and years to come.

Over the past 6 months, my wife Annette and I have had the honor of meeting with Corey and Morgan to help guide them as individuals and as a pre-marital couple. We have heard story upon story about their lives. In our study of the book “Love & Respect” we learned what is important and what is irrelevant. What is relevant is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ THEN let’s work towards a lasting relationship together. She wants L-O-V-E and he wants R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Is that too much to ask for??? I can assure all of you here today that these two people before you have been diligent, transparent, committed, and humble in our many hours of meeting. I commend both of you in your faithfulness and commitment to God to repay him with you desire to be better together forever. WELL DONE!

At this time Corey and Morgan would now like to share their personal reflections about each other with you....(Corey first). Then Morgan.

In Genesis 2...

18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.

But for Adam[f] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

for she was taken out of man.”

24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
