STEVE WILL HAVE SONG FOR SEATING OF MOMS AND BRIDAL PARTY ENTRANCE

BARB WALKS IN TO THE SONG SPEECHLESS

Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered together here to join Barbara Ann Gaydos and Steven Zacharias in the spiritual union of marriage.

Who gives this bride today?

So with that being said.. Is there anyone who has cause why this couple should not be united in marriage... phew I was worried for a minute.. hahaha

To begin this beautiful day, let us ask for a blessing:

Dear Lord, thank you for this day. The gratitude that we feel is so overwhelming. As Barb and Steve go down this road, we ask that you continue to guide their steps, always let them know that you are with them and help them through the trials of life. Let them remember to always put the other first and to give thanks to you everyday. Help them to see and find the good in all things and to share that joy with others. In Jesus name we pray.. AMEN

Today we come to witness the joining of these two lives and the making of a true family. For Barb and Steve, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. They met each other years ago, went separate ways friends but to meet again after growing as people. After this time, they come together to find their true partners in life in each other.

Now we rejoice in their wedding and union. A good marriage and a true family must be created and nurtured as it grows from day to day. It is never being too old to hold hands, it's remembering to say I LOVE YOU everyday. It's being partners and part of something bigger.. A FAMILY... It is finding your equal, your true better half.

I WILL SPEAK HERE ABOUT YOU TWO!!!!!

BLESSING PRAYER # 2

We read from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud. Love is never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable or touchy. Love does not hold grudges and will hardly notice when others do it wrong. Love is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone, you will be loyal to them no matter what the costs. You will always believe in them, always expect the best in them, and will always stand your ground in defending them.

Barbara and Steven will now share their vows.

Do you Barbara take this man Steven to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?

*(Wait for Confirmation)*

Do you Steven take this woman Barbara to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?

*(Wait for Confirmation)*

Barbara and Steven will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment.

*(Ring Exchange)*

Who has the rings??

As you both exchange rings I want all to know the the Wedding rings symbolize the never-ending love you two share, it is an unbroken circle of love, signifying to all the union of this couple in marriage.

PLEASE REPEAT AFTER ME:

STEVEN, as you place the ring on BARBARA'S finger, please repeat after me:

With this ring, I marry you and bind my life to yours.

It is a symbol of my eternal love,

My everlasting friendship,

And the promise of all my tomorrows.

BARBARA, as you place the ring on STEVEN'S finger, please repeat after me:

With this ring, I marry you and bind my life to yours.

It is a symbol of my eternal love,

My everlasting friendship,

And the promise of all my tomorrows.

SAND CEREMONY - SONG "BETTER PLACE"

FIVE colors of sand will be layered in a vase to symbolize the importance of the individuals within the marriage and the joining of the two lives into one entity.

Your family relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these individual containers of sand; one, representing you, BARBARA and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, one representing you, STEVEN, and all that you were and all that you are, and all that you will ever be and two containers representing the children, STEPHANIE and CHRISTINA.

The sculpture begins with a layer of neutral sand to symbolize that the marriage is grounded

The two separate bottles of sand symbolize your separate lives, separate families and separate sets of friends. They represent all that you are and all that you will ever be as an individual. They also represent your lives before today.

Now, I ask that (STEPHANIE AND CHRISTINA) join you in pouring their sand together with yours to create a beautiful flow of love and energy.

As you each hold your sand the separate containers of sand represent your lives to this moment; individual and unique.

As you now combine your sand together, your lives also join together as one family.

You may now blend the sand together symbolizing the uniting of the children and BARBARA/STEVEN into one.

Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage and your family be. With this marriage, these two families are joined.

(To the kids:)

Each of you are now a resource into which, as family members, you may come to, throughout your life times, for direction, meaning, and love.

Your Parents strive to provide not only the basic needs, but a nurturing and loving environment in which each of you find the confidence to reach the highest goals of your hearts, minds, and spirits.

This is part of their vision of what your family is. Do you each accept the responsibility of being an important part in the building of this family, and to forever contribute your best efforts to maintain the closeness and strength?

If so, say, We do.”

LET US PRAY - PRAYER #7

Lord behold our family here assembled. We thank you for this place in which we dwell, for the love that unites us, for the peace accorded us this day, for the hope with which we expect the morrow, for the health, the work, the food, and the bright skies that make our lives delightful; for our friends in all parts of the earth. AMEN
