We are gathered together to join Jody Lynn Wagner and Kenneth Michael Mack in the spiritual union of marriage.

Since creation, there has been a extreme shortage of perfect people, but every once in a great while we find two people who are perfect for each other. What is greater than for two people to feel that they are joined together; to strengthen each other in their work, to rest on each other in sorrow, to help each other in need, to share joy, and to be one with each other in whatever life has to offer?

This is a special time of celebration that Jody and Ken will long remember, and because of this, they are thankful that you are here today to share in their joy.

Jody and Ken, today begins a new chapter for you both. In marriage, the little things are the big things. Marriage is a life of giving and sharing, nurturing and supporting, allowing each other the freedom to grow and change as individuals while developing your mutual spirit as time goes by. This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Jody and Ken, your flames are separate yet they feed the same fire.

You will leave your separate candles burning to show that you are individuals, each unique and different, but you have the common commitment of sharing your lives, your love and your home together. From this day onward, may you bask in the beauty of the light of your love.
