Family and Friends: Welcome!
Thank you all for coming to this beautiful place which has been truly touched by God to unite Julie and Chris and to make their union official. Each and every one of you have been a special part of their lives, and the couple want their friends and family to bear witness to their union, and for you to have beautiful memories of this day to take home with you. We are gathered here in celebration now to create the good times and memories that will be cherished by Julie, Chris and all of us here, for years to come.
I have had the honor and privilege to witness how both of you have learned how to come together as a couple, from blending your families to remodeling your home (which can do any couple in), you have grown together with each step. Marriage is about unity, a partnership, a friendship. Marriage is a giving of ones self to one another. Marriage is a promise between two people before God, and us today. Marriage is a choice, one of life's most important choices two people can make. It states, I choose you for who you are, I choose you to be the one I start and end my day with and to share everything in between. I choose you to share my hopes, my dreams, my secrets and my family with, to share all of me. I choose you to take my hand, to walk beside me on this journey. Together, we will grow-together, we can conquer anything. Together, we will enjoy all this life has to offer.
I have a poem, I'd like to read_
God with his glory and grace,
Has brought you two together,
Standing here, face to face,
With love in your heart,
Today signifies a new start.
Together, as husband and wife,
Hand in hand, on this journey, we call life.
May your love never falter or fail,
May it grow, strengthen, and always prevail.
Together, you have chosen each other,
Til' death do you part,
There shall be no other

-Get rings-
RING EXCHANGE
Rings are made of precious metal, but that same metal is also made precious by wearing them. They mark the beginning of your journey together. Your wedding ring is a circle, a symbol of love never ending. It is the seal of the vows you have just taken to love each other without end.
Julie, please place the ring on Chris’ left hand.
By placing this ring on his finger, you do this as a sign of your love that you have chosen him above all else.

We ask you heavenly father, to watch over Julie and Chris, as they go forward today, as husband and wife. To please bless them with your love and guidance. May they always find strength and comfort in each other. May their light of love shine bright in times of darkness. And may they always remember why they chose each other. Amen
