***Ready 08.11.2018 ~ Wedding of Jordyn & Andrew on August 11th 2018 4:30pm ♥️
Officiant:
* Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,
* We are gathered together here to join Jordyn and Andrew in the union of marriage.
* Now we will have a reading of Corinthians 13 which was a favorite of Jordyn’s Grandmother as a blessing in remembrance:
* Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love I am only a resounding gong or clanging symbol. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and can understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have faith, that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I give all I possess to the poor, and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
* Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
* Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
* When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
* And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Amen.
Officiant:
* This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
* Jordyn and Andrew will now share their vows as they turn to face each other and hold hands for your Vows:
Officiant:
* Jordyn and Andrew, you are about to make your promises to one another. You will find that as you live by these vows over the years, investing your time, love, laughter, sadness and joy, you will find your commitment to one another, the happy times of your life will be twice as joyous because you’ve shared these joys in marriage.
* Jordyn, Will you take Andrew whose hand you hold, Choosing him alone to be your husband? Will you live with him in the state of true matrimony?
* Jordyn please respond with “I do”.
Officiant:
* Andrew, Will you take Jordyn whose hand you hold, Choosing her alone to be your wife? Will you live with her in the state of true matrimony?
* Andrew please respond with “I do”
Officiant:
* Please hand me the rings. As I hand you each the ring you’ve chosen let us make these rings serve to remind you both of the promises on this day and the gift of harmony that you’ve brought to each other. Now repeat after me together as you exchange rings:
Jordyn and Andrew repeat after me:
* Please except this ring as a symbol of my appreciation for the love, laughter and understanding that you have brought to my life. With this ring “I do wed”
Officiant:
* By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Kansas I now pronounce you married!
* You may now kiss each other as a confirmation of your love before all gathered here as your witnesses.
* I now am proud to introduce you as Mr. & Mrs. Hampton from this day forward. Let us celebrate this wonderful day in their life!
