Friends and family. We are gathered today to bear whiteness to the holy union of Kirk Hall and Cindy Richie.
Let us now pause to establish ourselves in the consciousness of the holy presence of God and express our gratefulness for the blessed energy of divine love.
Prayer:
Gracious God, Divine Creator of all this wonder, we pray your light of love and joy shine down upon us as we gather today for the union of these two, Kirt and Cindy. We thank you for love and for marriage, Dear Lord. Amen.
Irish Blessing:
May your souls always bathe in the truth of light and understanding. May your love always lift your head to the heavens, while your feet remain deeply rooted in the earth. May your love be not only of your minds but of your hearts, and may your hearts always be open to one another. May your love be a sanctuary for one another and all you hold sacred. May your love always honour the One who first loved you and inspired you to love one another - The One who brought you together - Creator of us all."
Bible Passage:
1 Corinthians 13:4-13
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Declaration of Intent:
After my question, if you are in agreement, please say I do.
Kirt, do you take Cindy, to be your partner in the adventure that lies ahead? Do you promise to walk by her side to the ends of the earth? To love, encourage, and support her in her every endeavor? Do you commit to opening yourself up completely to her and share with her your entire being? To share her laughter as well as her tears? Do you take her as your wife for now until the end of time?

Ring Exchange:
Kirt please place the ring on Cindy’s finger. Now Cindy, please place the ring on Kirt's finger. This is the point in the ceremony where we usually talk about the wedding bands being a perfect circle, with no beginning and no end. But we all know that these rings do have a beginning. Rock is dug up from the earth. Metal is liquefied in a furnace at a thousand degrees, then molded, cooled, and painstakingly polished. Something beautiful is made from raw elements. Love is like that. It's hot, dirty work. It comes from humble beginnings, made by imperfect beings. It's the process of making something beautiful where there was once nothing at all. These rings are your promise to accept each other’s imperfections and recognize the raw beauty of love.
Pronouncement:
Kirt and Cindy, the two of you have pledged your devotion to one another today in the presence of God and these witnesses. As such, and by the power vested in me by the Great State of Idaho and the American Marriage Ministry, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now seal the deal with a kiss!
Friends and family, i now introduce to you as husband and wife Mr. and Mrs. Hall!
