Lisa Eriksson And Brian Kindig’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Good evening and thank you all for being with us today as we share in joining Lisa Eriksson and Brian Kindig's lives together as one. It was eight years ago this week that Lisa performed my marriage ceremony and it gives me great pleasure in returming the gift to her. i have known Lisa her whole life. I have never seen her more fulfilled and happy as she is today. Thank you Brian for adding to her life and her joy. I haven't spent much time qith Brian as we live so far away. But I do know that Lisa and the kids love him, and when we have been together I can see the love he has for Lisa written on his face and in his actions.

Marriage

Lisa and Brian, please join hands. The marriage contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You don’t expose it to the elements. You don’t make it common or ordinary. If it ever becomes tarnished, you must lovingly polish it until it gleams like new. It becomes special because you have made it so, and it becomes more beautiful and precious as time goes by. Your marriage and family is that precious foundation protect it, and shield it.

Ring Exchange

The ring, an unbreakable circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another.

Lisa please place this ring on Brian's finger and repeat after me.

Brian, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love, and that I am choosing to share my life's journey with you. I give you this ring, with the pledge to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever.

Brian please place this ring on Lisa's finger and repeat after me.

Lisa, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love, and that I am choosing to share my life's journey with you. I give you this ring, with the pledge to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever.

Lisaa and Brian, I want to wish you both much love and happiness as you begin your new journey. Remember to keep lots of laughter in your life and love will never be far behind.

Blessing

I leave you now with the following words:

May all that you are be in love. May all that is love always be in you. May your love be as beautiful on each day you share as it is on this day of celebration; and may each day you share be as precious to you as the day you first fell in love. May you always see and encourage the best in each other. May the challenges life brings your way make your marriage even stronger, and may you always be each other's best friend and greatest love.

Pronouncement

Before I pronounce you married partners, I have just one more thing I want you to do. Your wedding day is one that seems to fly by. It's a day filled with emotion, friends, rings, dances. Many people here are remembering how fleeting their own wedding day was. So I want you to take a few seconds to look into each others' eyes. Think about the happiness that you're feeling in this place, right now in this moment. Really let that feeling register in your heart and mind. Now I want you think about your life in twenty years. Where are you? What are you doing? Your visions of the future aren't identical, but I promise you, they're complimentary. John Lennon once said, "A dream you dream alone is only a dream, a dream you dream together....THAT is reality!" That new reality starts now....

By the authority vested in me by the American Marriage Ministires and by the State of Minnesota, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud and honored to introduce to you for the very first time Mr. and Mrs. Brian Kindig and Lisa Eriksson Kindig.
