In order to obtain the marriage license, the couple must apply together in person at the Tulsa County Courthouse to pay the required fee and sign documentation.

When you go, don’t forget to bring:

  • Government ID (Passport, Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID)
  • $50 credit or debit (no cash or checks accepted at satellite office on 123 S Main Street)

You don’t have to be a resident of Oklahoma to get married there; however, the marriage must be performed within the state. The Basics

If you are looking for an idyllic wedding location, complete with a gorgeous Victorian home, an open-air pavilion, and plenty of space for a large reception, we highly recommend checking out 924 On Main -- formerly known as Restore House. This venue not only has great catering services but also provides professional wedding photography. You are also just a short walk from all the beautiful parks and historical locations. Another favorite venue of ours in Broken Arrow is the Glass Chapel. This beautiful, large glass windowed chapel will not disappoint when it comes to snapping those wedding photos.

Because Oklahoma is mostly rural and covered by over nine hundred miles of highway, public transportation options are few and far between. Your best bet for reliable transportation will either be using rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft or just using your own vehicles.

Oklahoma is a humid subtropical climate, with summers that can get uncomfortably warm. Due to its close proximity to the Rocky Mountains, weather patterns can be unpredictable, and winters are usually cold, wet, and windy with the occasional snowfall.
