In the State of New Jersey, it is legal for any clergy member of any religion to solemnize marriages. AMM makes it possible for you to become a member or our clergy by simply signing up for free! You can complete this process in just a few minutes and you’ll be an officially ordained AMM minister.
Officiating a wedding is certainly an honor, but also means a fair deal of preparation and planning. It is the full responsibility of the couple to obtain the marriage license from the County Clerk’s office, fill it out and sign it. However, your job as the officiant is to make sure it is filled out correctly and returned no later than thirty days after issuance. Valid personal identification (such as a Passport, or State ID) must be presented as well as a $28 for the marriage license.

In Atlantic City, you'll have a number of incredible wedding venues to choose from. Luxurious venues like the Ocean and Atlantic ballrooms, are fantastic options right in the center of town. If you want a venue with especially gorgeous views of the sea and elaborate floor to ceiling glass windows, we would highly recommend One Atlantic. If you’re looking for something with beautiful outdoor scenery, check out the Atlantic City Country Club. This is a wonderful venue for capturing the perfect wedding photo. Whatever your decision, make sure to plan and book well enough in advance.
Public transportation in Atlantic City is plentiful. The Atlantic City International Airport is located just minutes outside the city limits, with regular taxi and shuttle services to and from the city. A lot of the main attractions are within walking distance, however, the famous Jitney bus services provide great transportation to locations all over the city. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also available.
Summers in Atlantic City can get very hot and humid with temperatures occasionally rising into the low hundreds. Winters, on the other hand, tend to be cold, with the occasional snowfall. The best time to visit Atlantic City is in early Summer and early Fall.
