BIBLE READING

Reading: Genesis 29:18-20 Jacob was in love with Rachel and said, 'I work for you seven years in return for your younger daughter Rachel. Laban said, better that I give her to you than to some other man. Stay here with me So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her. This is not be taken lightly. This is a vow to love unconditionally as in one flesh. To lift each other up spiritually and not lead each other into temptation.

DECLARATION OF INTENT

- repeat after me: I, , take you, , to be my lawfully wedded wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live.
