I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. As a youth I was very active in my local church. I accepted Christ as my savior when I was 13. I had the wonderful opportunity of attending "The Wilds Of The Rockies" camp. It was during an evening bible study, that God laid on my heart my need for salvation. I immediately responded and accepted Christ as my savior. I did make another profession of faith when I was 26 yrs old. I had moved to Iowa and found a solid bible believing church in the local town I was in. It was during the first revival meeting i attended after joining the church, that i was blessed with hearing the preaching of Bro Jack Parchman. He was an evangelist with a heart on fire to spread the message of Jesus love and his return. I felt compelled to make an alter call during an invitation after he preached a message on what you see 10 seconds after death. I wanted to make sure I was saved and I professed to God that if I didn't mean it when I was 13 I meant it now. I have had no reservations about my salvation and am thankful to know that I am a child of The King. I am a Baptist Christian. I believe in the Trinity. I believe God sent his son to die on the cross and that Jesus rose from the dead and is at the right hand of the Father and that one day soon He will return to call his people home for eternity. I believe that Jesus was without sin when he paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. I believe the bible is Holy inspired and I take it literal. I believe in baptism by submersion. I believe that the only way to enter into Heaven is to have accepted Christ as your savior. I know that works are not what will get me into heaven. I know that i am not worthy of anything heavenly, in fact the bible says we are nothing more than filthy rags. I am thankful for God sending his son to die on the cross so that i may accept his gift and know without doubt that I am saved and someday will live eternally with my Lord and Savior. I believe the Holy Ghost takes up residence in us when we accept salvation. I believe that once saved always saved. I can not lose my salvation. The bible says that no one and nothing can pluck us out of Gods hand. I believe whether in life or death our job as a christian is to prove Christ strong. I believe we are to be living examples of what Christ has done for us. I believe it is our duty as Christians to fellowship with one another. I believe in joining a local church and providing support to that church. I read an AV 1611 King James only bible as I feel it is the purest form of the word of God that we have. I believe it only matters what God says and that mans opinion is irrelevant. I think any building can call themselves a church but if the word of God is not preached and the Holy Spirit is not present then the church is useless. I believe the bible is truthful in every aspect and contains messages and passages and stories that are truthful. Even if my pea sized brain can not comprehend it I believe it is truthful. God is not a respecter of persons and nothing can happen to any of us good or bad that God does not approve of. I don't understand why God allows certain things to happen but it is my belief not to question him because His plan is perfect and Holy even if I do not agree. I believe it does only take the faith of a mustard seed to move a mountain and that prayer is powerful. I believe if we have any ought between ourselves and God that he will not hear or answer prayer until we repent and ask forgiveness. We are to seek God diligently daily. We our to deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. With out God I am nothing. I can never do anything righteous to earn my way to heaven. I try to demonstrate the fruits of the spirit in my life daily. I am not here to judge anyone. I want to be the best I can be everyday. I hope when others examine me the first thing they see is Christ. I hope my testimony will help others come to know the Lord. In all aspects of my life I give God the glory for what he has accomplished in my life and for what he has yet to do. I may get to plant a seed every now and then but it is God who gives the increase, so I give God the Glory in everything. I am eternally gratful for the love that God has shown me and I try to give a message of love and kindness to all i meet. The bible says to love one another. It was the only commandment Jesus gave us before descending to heaven. Thank you for taking the time to read briefly about me. Let us now deny ourselves and take up our crosses to follow Christ.
